Article1 In order to ensure the normal enrollment of new students with financial difficulties, this system is formulated in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Ministry of Education and the Education Department of Jilin Province and in light of the actual conditions of our school.
Article2 Establish a green channel system, which allows students from families with special financial difficulties , In the case of deferring part or all of the tuition fee, to first go through the admission procedures. and then, according to the verified family financial situation, take different financial aid measures such as state student loan, tuition waiver, hardship subsidy, work-study subsidy, etc., to ensure that every new student with special economic difficulties is not unable to enter the school because of family financial difficulties.
Article 3 This system applies to the full-time undergraduate freshmen who are officially admitted by our university.
Article 4 Application conditions:
(1) children of martyrs, children of disabled servicemen, children of people who died in the line of duty, or orphans;
(2) persons whose family has no financial source and is suffering from special economic hardship;
(3) persons whose families are located in poor areas with extremely low economic income and living in extreme hardship;
(4) persons whose parents have been laid off and have no fixed income and whose family economy is particularly poor;
(5) persons whose families are particularly poor due to other irresistible reasons.
Article 5 Application and examination and approval procedures:
(1) The school shall set up green channel service stations in each campus;
(2)Students with financial difficulties shall present the admission notice for freshmen of Jilin University and the township (town, street) level government, and submit a written application to the college;
(3) After confirmation by the college, fill in the application form of "Green Channel for Freshmen of Jilin University", and the deputy secretary in charge of student affairs shall sign the opinions;
(4) Each college shall submit the preliminary examination results to the green channel service stations of each campus, which shall be reviewed by the student work office of the campus;
(5) The student should take the application form of "Green Channel for Freshmen of Jilin University" to the finance department of the campus to verify the deferred payment amount;
(6) Students shall go through the admission procedures with the examination and approval results.
Article 6 After enrollment, the university will further verify the students' difficulties and, according to the degree of difficulties, grant them state student loans, tuition remission, hardship subsidies and work-study jobs. Those who do not meet the financial aid requirements after verification shall pay the tuition fees.
Article 7 Supplementary Provisions
(1) Provide active and enthusiastic service to students in difficulty, except allowing them to postpone the payment of relevant fees or go through the admission procedures, but also to help to solve other difficulties in life.
(2) Adhering to the principle of seeking truth from facts and being moderately strict, the number of students admitted through the Green Channel is no more than 10% of the college's freshmen generally.
Article 8 The implementation of the green channel for new junior college students shall be carried out with reference to these Measures.
Article 9 These Measures shall take effect as of the date of promulgation.
